Evan is a 2 year old Lurcher who came to us in November 2022 from Waterford pound. He is such an affectionate boy, he loves cuddles with his foster Dad.
Evan is spotless in the house and loves his food. He gets on very well with all the other dogs in his foster home, there are 2 other male dogs (Springer and Lurcher) and a female lurcher there.
He can pull on the lead at times when he sees something of interest but this is improving all the time. He’s very gentle and laid back in the home, likes his naps and we do think he would be ok as an only dog also.
He can dig the odd hole hole in the garden but we are putting this down to the mischievous influence of Lisa, the resident female lurcher who would happily dig holes all day long, Evan just wants to join in the fun!
He does jump up a bit but that has gotten much better, its just excitement to see you, he might knock over a small child unintentionally so older children will suit best.
Evan does have prey drive towards cats and rabbits. He will need a home without neighbouring cats and will need a fully secure garden.
Evan doesn’t need to have someone who is home all day but he does love his exercise time.
Evan is a beautiful boy, he is very loving and will be a very loyal boy to his new owners, he has a very sweet nature.
Evan is neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated including KC, worm and flea treated.
