Oakley is a 3 year old staffie who came to us from Waterford pound in November 2022. He is absolutely gorgeous, a total pro when it comes to posing with his big and beautiful smiling face!
He is a boy that’s full of the joys of life. He loves getting out for his walks and he is pretty good on the lead once he settles himself, he’s always excited to get going and just loves to bring a toy along with him for the outing.
He’s a total charmer, loves the fussing and has no idea of his own size when he bounces in for hugs.
Oakley would like to have all of the attention for himself, he will be best suited to a home where he is the only dog.
Oakley is a strong boy and will need someone who has experience of the breed and someone who will help him to understand boundaries. He will need a home with older teenagers upwards, and a home without cats. He’s brilliant for Charlotte at the kennels and always tries to please, but he can get distracted. He has some commands and this will need continued work. He loves his food and can be excitable when it arrives, but has learned to sit and wait now.
Oakley’s toilet training is coming along but still needs work. He is ok in the car once he can be safely secured on a back seat, he’s not comfortable in a crate.
He’s doing very well in the kennels but we know this boy will really shine once he gets the opportunity of a home environment.
Oakley is neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated including KC, worm and flea treated.
