Meet Puddles, the raindrop of joy who came into his owners life on a rainy December evening in 2016.
Please read through this heartwarming intro from Puddles current home:
As I strolled through town, I spotted what I initially thought was a rat scurrying towards a sewer drain, but to my surprise, it was a tiny kitten in need of help! With cars whizzing by, I quickly scooped him up and rushed him to the vet. They confirmed he was just 7 weeks old, covered in fleas, and desperately underweight. But with love and care, he made a remarkable recovery and found a loving companion in my pet rabbit, Bunbun. They became the most adorable duo, with Puddles even mimicking Bunbun’s bunny hops!
Puddles is a primarily indoor cat, but he enjoys the outdoors at his own pace. I supervise his ventures into the garden, where he takes leisurely walks, soaking in the sights and scents. While not a major lap-cat, he will come and sit by your side on his terms, especially if there’s a cozy blanket involved. He doesn’t mind being scooped up for some affectionate cuddles, and his purring will melt your heart. Puddles particularly loves head scratches and can often be found curled up under blankets, or basking on a sunny windowsill. He’s content in his own space and will happily sleep at the foot of your bed if given the chance.
In the presence of new people, Puddles may initially appear shy, but his curiosity gets the better of him, and he’ll soon come out to join in on the fun. His playful side emerges when you introduce lasers, ribbons, cardboard boxes, or paper bags – he adores games of peek-a-boo! Even the slightest playful gestures will get him excited and hopping with joy. Puddles’ cheerful chirps and hops are his way of showing how happy he is.
Puddles has a delightful personality and loves engaging in playtime. He’s the perfect companion, content to lounge around but also eager to interact and entertain. While he did get along with my dog and the two of them had their moments of harmony, Puddles would prefer a home without a dog. He has had brief encounters with other cats, and with slow and patient introductions, he could potentially be rehomed with feline companions.
If you’re looking for a gentle, playful, and affectionate feline friend, Puddles might be the perfect addition to your home. He’ll bring joy, love, and laughter into your life and fill your days with heartwarming moments. So why not open your heart and welcome Puddles into your family? You’ll be rewarded with an adorable little companion who will shower you with love and companionship for years to come.
