More about Rian
Rian was found as a stray not in the best condition. He was chipped but his story did not have a happy ending, passed from pillar to post in his short lifetime
Rian was 2 years old on 5th October 2024 and is a little bundle of fun, always ready for a walk and equally ready for a cuddle. He loves company and always has a smile on his face. Rian walks pretty well on the lead and is clean in his kennel almost all the time. He could live in rural or urban areas. Rian’s chip has his breed as American Bull Terrier but we can see a bit of Shar Pei so we have put him as unknown mixture but he is defiantly a bull breed. Sadly bull breeds are on the restricted list and there are certain laws in regards to these dogs eg muzzled when on walks, as well as not allowed in most council/housing association properties. Rian is not cat friendly, he could live with another dog depending on meet and greet a few times. Rian is chipped, neutered, fully vaccinated including kennel cough, treated for fleas and wormed and needs a home with a family with bull breed experience. We also feel older children teenagers upwards would be more suitable for Rian only because he is a strong boy. Rian has been mistreated by males in the past and is wary of them to begin with, he is fine once he gets to know them. Females he just loves and trusts 100%, he will bark at men on walks etc which can sound scary but it is his his way of letting men know he is not comfortable with them.
