About Irish Retired Greyhound Trust
The Irish Retired Greyhound Trust (IRGT) is a registered charity (Charity Number: CHY12127). The Irish Retired Greyhound Trust was first established in 1997 by Rásaíocht Con Éireann. Funded through owners prizemoney deductions, matched donations by GRI & private donations, the charity works to rehome greyhounds after retirement and promote them as domestic pets.
The IRGT facilitate owners with transitioning their greyhounds from athletes to couch potatoes! We want to educate and promote people regarding greyhounds as pets.
