About HART – Homeless Animal Rescue Team
Homeless Animal Rescue Team (H.A.R.T) is a voluntary, non-profit, dog and cat rescue group founded in Cork in 2012. We take in all breeds and do have an affinity for sighthounds.
All the animals that come into our care are placed in foster homes, or private boarding kennels if a foster home cannot be found. We do not have our own shelter and are reliant on foster homes to help our animals on their journey to finding their new families.
All adult animals are fully vaccinated, micro-chipped and neutered prior to adoption. If adopting a puppy, the new owners must agree to neutering when they come of age. Pups are fully vaccinated and micro-chipped.
We do not receive significant funding from the state and therefore rely solely on fundraising help, ideas and the generosity of the general public.
