More about Gucci
Gucci is a wonderful, exceptionally sweet and loving cat. She loves to chat and is very friendly. She adores attention but also really values her boundaries and independence: she knows exactly what she wants and when she wants it 🙂 She is also cautious with new people and in unfamiliar situations, so she will definitely require patience, a quiet environment and a very gentle approach to build trust. But once she is settled there is no cat more loyal and loving!
She enjoys being outside but will need to be kept strictly indoors for a minimum of 8 weeks to get used to her new home and family. Gucci lived indoors for the first four years of her life, so she is well used to litter trays and won’t be distressed by not having access to an outdoor area during the transition to her new life.
Gucci’s relationship with other cats was complicated in the past, as the older cat of the house was hostile towards her so she would certainly do better in a home where she will be the only cat. She was never the aggressor but might have kept the fear of interacting with other cats. That being said, there is a possibility that later in time, once she is settled and confident in her new home, she could be introduced to a smaller cat or kitten who she won’t find intimidating.
She is not used to young children and would be happier in a fully adult household or with teenage children who will respect her quiet time and boundaries.
Gucci is overall a very healthy and active cat. She has suffered twice from an allergy in summer time which affected her eyes, it seems to be a seasonal occurrence but could have also been related to specific plants present in the surroundings of her previous home.
She has a very good appetite and eats Edgar Cooper kibble and Feringa wet food. She also adores Lick-E-Lix cream treats 🙂

Adoption Fee: €40 for not yet neutered kittens, €60 for neutered cats and kittens, €80 for neutered and microchipped cats Please note that, as a small charity, we cannot cover the cost of vaccinations, except for particularly vulnerable animals such as cats with FIV. There is no adoption fee for animals clearly marked as "special needs".
Adoption Process:
We send an adoption form to confirm whether potential adopter’s circumstances are suitable for taking a cat or kitten. Successful applicants are visited at their residence by our volunteer for a home check. Prior to arranging collection of the adopted cat, we provide their family with advice on how to organise the arrival of their new companion and all best practices to care for the animal. Two copies of an adoption agreement are signed on the day of collection, and adoption fee received.
