More about Bailey

Bailey 🐾

Bailey came to us a few months ago as a scared kitten who had just had kittens herself, she was scared and withdrawn and used to hide in the corner 😢 she has made huge progress in her foster home and She is now more confident around humans, asks for pets and looks forward to seeing her foster Mam and Dad.

She still is weary if you move too quickly, or move stuff around (chair or bringing shopping bags in the room) but with time she comes out from hiding interested to see what’s going on.

She will do well in an indoor home with adults only and with no dogs as barking scares her. She is a gorgeous little lady and her fosterers have given some tips to help her settle in – play with her daily, she loves that. She will sit with toys to let you know she wants to have fun and then she can jump around for hours. She doesn’t mind being picked up but you have to be slow and steady 🐾

Bailey is fully vaccinated, microchipped, spayed and treated for parasites.

If you would like to meet Bailey please get in touch.

Adoption Fee: Adoption fee for a dog is €100. Adoption fee for a cat/kitten is €100 with a reduced fee for 2.

Adoption Process:

Adopters are asked to contact us and provide a phone number.
We will call the adopter and discuss there requirements and set up .
Potential adopters are encouraged to come and meet the animal in our shelter.
If the adopters already have a dog they will be asked to bring it along and walk it with their chosen dog.
For dogs we do a home check to ensure that the property is secure and suitable for the dog being adopted.
We then allow adopters to take the animal home for a trial period , usually a week.
If all goes well we have a homing agreement and the homing fee needs to be paid.
The microchip will be transferred and the adopter talked through the process needed to register the animal in their name.
