Oakley is a 4 year old staffie who came to us from Waterford pound in November 2022. He is with us almost a year now and no one has come to meet him.
Oakley is a bouncy, energetic boy who has captured the hearts of all who have looked after him, you can’t help but fall for the charms of this cheeky chappy.
He is a boy that’s full of the joys of life. He loves getting out for his walks and he is pretty good on the lead once he settles himself, he’s always excited to get going and just loves to bring a toy along with him for the outing, particularly his favourite red Kong which he likes to impress you with, showcasing his skills of throwing it around.
Oakley loves the fussing and has no idea of his own size when he bounces in for hugs, for this reason he will need a home with older teenagers upwards.
Oakley would like to have all of the attention for himself, he will be best suited to a home where he is the only dog, and no cats.
He is a strong boy and will need someone who has experience of the breed, someone who will help him to understand boundaries.
He’s brilliant for Charlotte at the kennels and always tries to please. He has some commands and this will need continued work. He loves his food and can be excitable when it arrives, but has learned to sit and wait now.
Oakley’s toilet training is coming along but still needs work. He is fine in the car once he can be safely secured on a back seat, he’s not comfortable in a crate. He loves nothing more then sticking his head out the window on his travels!
He’s doing very well in the kennels but we know this boy will really shine once he gets the opportunity of a home environment.
Oakley is neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated including KC, worm and flea treated.
