Mehdi is a very beautiful boy who is 10 months old. He is a small sheltie Lurcher, 17.5 inches to his shoulder. He came to us from Waterford pound in June.
What a stunning boy Mehdi is with his unusual looks. Mehdi is very good with others dogs. He is really good with people also and loves the attention. House training is a work in progress, he does keep his kennel as clean as he possibly can and we feel in a home environment he would learn quickly.
Mehdi is a very clever and very sensitive boy. He will benefit from a calm and confident handler, he can put on the breaks on when walking in new settings, new sounds can startle him. He walks very well with other dogs who assure him. He’s still very much a baby who’s trying to find his way, his independence and confidence needs to be nurtured. He will adore whoever looks after him, he’s very eager to connect with his human.
Mehdi travels well in a car. He does have prey drive so cats would be a no in his new home.
This lovely boy is neutered, chipped, fully vaccinated including kennel cough and ready to meet prospective adopters.
