Beautiful Leslie and Sam are currently safe in loving foster care. They are around 4 months old, had a full health check, been treated for worms and fleas, and their vet is very happy with them.
These lovely girls were rescued by a kind family in Navan who cared for them and their feral mother in their garden since the day they were born. Because of their early life outdoors, Leslie and Sam are naturally shy and take time to feel confident in new situations. Like many sensitive kittens, they can become quite withdrawn when unsure, but they are affectionate and trusting once they feel safe. Sam (tabby) is very playful and is braver than Leslie. She also feels that she needs to protect her sister and might hiss at people she doesn’t know but they are both very gentle and would never scratch.
Their ideal adopters will be patient, calm and willing to let the kittens set the pace as they adjust. They will need a quiet home and time to build trust at their own speed. With gentle encouragement and consistency, these sisters will blossom into playful, loving companions!
Leslie and Sam would thrive in a home where they can stay together: it wouldn’t be fair to separate them and break such an important bond between the two sisters.
We recommend a home without young children or loud activities, as busy environments can be overwhelming for shy kittens.
If you can offer Leslie and Sam a peaceful, loving forever home, please message us at adoptions@backintodaylight.com with some information about your household.
We’ll send you an adoption request form and arrange a home check to ensure these special girls are a perfect match for your family
