Dexter is a 16-week-old greyhound puppy full of love and personality! Affectionate and cuddly, he adores people and has a heart full of enthusiasm for everyone he meets. Whether it’s family or friends, he greets all with tail wags and gentle puppy kisses, making sure no one feels left out. This lovable boy is a social butterfly and has been fantastic with any dog he has encountered so far – he would love to make new doggy friends!
Dexter has a playful side and likes a variety of toys, but his favourites are interactive ones like tug toys, where he can engage with his humans. He also has a blast zooming around the garden, letting loose with his playful energy and his long, speedy legs. A true foodie at heart, Dexter is highly food motivated and absolutely adores enrichment activities, especially his snuffle mat, lick mat, and puzzles.
While Dexter can be a little hesitant when it’s time to hop in the car, a little encouragement does the trick. Once he’s in, he’s the perfect passenger, happily enjoying the ride, and excited to explore wherever we have ended up when visiting family and friends. His brave and curious nature means he loves being in the middle of everything, always eager to see what’s going on around him. He is eager to explore the world when fully vaccinated.
When it comes to training, Dexter is a quick learner! He’s been doing great with potty training and consistently goes to the door when it’s time to head outside. He’s also learning to handle alone time – he may cry initially when left, but then he settles down quickly, especially when he’s left with an enrichment toy or puzzle to keep him busy. As his alone time is gradually being built up, he’s learning to be more independent.
