Hey everyone, my name’s George. I’ve been around a long long time and I’ve so many stories I could tell you, but this is the most important one:
Last October a wonderfully kind lady picked me up from the streets because the tumour on my ear needed urgent attention. Sadly my left ear had to be removed, but, I really don’t mind. A very kind fosterer took me in to heal and recover. Unfortunately I became unwell. After some tests and a short stay at the vets it turns out my kidneys aren’t doing great, and neither is my pancreas. In fact, old age is catching up with me – as it does us all – but, I really don’t mind. I just love indoor living, especially a cosy fireside bed. Currently I’m sharing my space with a bunch of other cats and a dog, but, I really don’t mind. I’m sticking to my strict renal diet. It’s a little bit boring but sometimes I get a sprinkle of white fish on top, so, I really don’t mind. Everything is good here and indoor life is definitely where I want to be now that I’m retired. Sadly my foster home is just a temporary spot and what I really need now is a permanent home. Whilst I’m really fond of Mayo I’m totally open to living anywhere, I really don’t mind.
