He is a lovely dog, loves affection but not demanding of it. He is not good being left alone though improving. He is hyper vigilant about where his human companion is.
He likes to have something to chew. In the evening he gets a bone or a stick or a cardboard box to chew. He has chewed through a couple of electric cables, those need to be out of sight.
He was terrified of a horse he met. Not worried by the cows.
Not too bad on the lead, will pull if he sees another dog.
Recall is good.
He is always looking for the cats, in the house this is just a nuisance since he is obedient, but in the garden he will chase them if let.
He needs another confident dog of his stature.

Adoption Process:
First you need to submit a pre-adoption from that you can find on www.clareanimalwelfare.ie. If suitable a volunteer may be in touch regarding a homecheck. Only if the homecheck has been successful can we invite you to meet a dog and if that meet and greet ends to everybody’s satisfaction (especially the dog’s) do we agree an adoption and a fee is to be paid to cover some of our cost for neutering, vaccination and microchipping. The for Puppies under 9 month is 250 EUR, for adult dogs 200 EUR and for senior dogs 150 EUR.
