Oakley is a British Bulldog. She takes a while to warm to new people but is very affectionate when she does. She would do better with older children and maybe another dog to follow around. We suspect she lived outdoors before she came into our care but has been doing well in foster care.

Adoption Process:
Adopters are asked to contact us and provide a phone number.
We will call the adopter and discuss there requirements and set up .
Potential adopters are encouraged to come and meet the animal in our shelter.
If the adopters already have a dog they will be asked to bring it along and walk it with their chosen dog.
For dogs we do a home check to ensure that the property is secure and suitable for the dog being adopted.
We then allow adopters to take the animal home for a trial period , usually a week.
If all goes well we have a homing agreement and the homing fee needs to be paid.
The microchip will be transferred and the adopter talked through the process needed to register the animal in their name.
