Dickens is our handsome, strawberry blond little man. Malnourished, underweight, dehydrated and ill, he was not a well boy when he arrived into foster care. But with lots of TLC and expert vet care, he has put this all in the past!
He is a happy little fella, loves his food and playing with anything that moves. He is very quiet, with hardly a single meow from one end of the day to the other, and still a bit timid but once he settles to your presence it is a purr-festival, with Dickens as your master of ceremonies! He loves nothing more than a good old head scratch. He still doesn’t like being picked up – all that medication and fussing from his younger days – but is very gentle and affectionate. He would be great with slightly older children who can respect his boundaries and know he needs to come to you for love and cuddles.
He has started his vet work and will be ready to go to his new home at the end of January. Will you be the lucky ones to be able to provide a home to this heart breaker?
