Meet Charlie and Marbles 🐱💕
Marbles is an energetic, sociable little guy who lives life at full speed! Bursting with beans and always on the move, he brings fun and curiosity wherever he goes. With his permanently surprised expression, Marbles wears his personality right on his face — and it’s impossibly cute.
He’s the brave heart of his sibling duo and the perfect yin to his brother Charlie’s yang. Though he’s the runt of the litter, Marbles is the bold one, often leading the way and helping his more nervous brother build confidence. The two are best buddies and love playing together, so Marbles would thrive in a home where he can keep spreading that courage and charm.
Marbles is incredibly playful and friendly with other cats — even when met with a hiss, he simply backs up politely and stays nearby, curious and calm. Around humans, he’s made huge progress and continues to blossom every day. While he may still dart away at times, he happily sticks close, enjoys being pet, and purrs like a tractor when you find just the right spot 😅. He’s also started chatting back, meowing for food and treats once he learned how rewarding humans can be!
Charlie is a sensitive, thoughtful little gentleman who knows exactly who he is. While his brother Marbles is the bold adventurer, Charlie is the quiet observer — cautious, curious, and happiest when the world moves at his pace.
Charlie is naturally a nervous boy, and after time in foster care it’s clear this is simply part of his personality. He isn’t a fan of being touched or having contact initiated, and he needs his space respected. That said, Charlie still enjoys companionship in his own way — he loves snoozing and relaxing in the same room as his humans (and especially alongside his beloved brother Marbles). He finds comfort just being near, even if he’s not ready for cuddles.
Charlie is a big food lover and will happily put on his “brave boy pants” for creamy Churu treats, even taking them from a hand. While he still doesn’t accept petting, he’ll sit right beside Marbles while Marbles is being doted on — a quiet, heart-melting show of trust.

CDPA does not have a physical shelter and we rely on our network of amazing foster carers to house and care for our kitties.
